Concerts, More Than Just Music We all have that one song that really hits home, maybe it's in a happy way, or maybe it's in a not so happy way. Either way, imagine that song being played live in front of you and 22,000 other people all singing along to the words. It's a surreal experience to say the least. Concerts turn those songs into something so much more than just instrumentals and lyrics. I've been going to concerts pretty consistently for the past few years and I cannot say there's one that I didn't enjoy. Whether I'm will just one other person or a whole group I always end up having a great time. The ad is most likely targeting homeowners with messy pets, as the actor is pretending to be a cat and makes a mess of the house (like all cats do). Most of the audience would be able to relate to this ad one way or another as most of us have had pets before, and I'm sure most of them have made messes before. This helps connect to viewers on a more personal level, leading them to be more open and intrigued about the product. This ad could also attract people who are new homeowners or on the fence about getting a pet, as it may not have crossed someone's mind, the kind of damages a pet can cause, and I'm sure it's relieving knowing you can have insurance that covers such damages.  Enjoying Your Job Do you ever wake up dreading going to work? Or perhaps worry about going to work the next day? I'm sure all of us get that feeling sometimes. Whether you have a full-time career that you love, or you're like me with a part time job, there's bound to be things that you dislike about work. Most of the time it has nothing to do with being a lazy, it can be the environment, coworkers, management, or it simply might not be the kind of work you want to be doing. I've personally dealt with issues in just about every one of those areas, here's a couple of things I've found help me get through my shifts. One of the main issues I find with my job is boredom, who would've thought. The first big thing I use to combat this is listening to music, my job doesn't allow earbuds or anything, luckily my hair is long enough to hide it. Nostalgia      We've all heard songs, seen pictures, or reconnected with people that take us back to an earlier, sometimes happier point in our lives. One of my personal examples would be the song "Journey to the End of the East Bay" by Rancid, it always brings me back to the earlier High School days when me and my buddies couldn't decide how many punk bands we wanted to start. Nostalgia is a really great thing, until it isn't. If you're anything like me, you may spend a lot of time looking through old photos reminiscing on fun times you've had in the past. It's nice to look back every once in a while, but getting caught up in the past too often can definitely create its own set of problems.  One of the biggest problems I've faced while always looking back at the past, is worsened depression.
