#5 Concerts
Concerts, More Than Just Music
We all have that one song that really hits home, maybe it's in a happy way, or maybe it's in a not so happy way. Either way, imagine that song being played live in front of you and 22,000 other people all singing along to the words. It's a surreal experience to say the least. Concerts turn those songs into something so much more than just instrumentals and lyrics.
I've been going to concerts pretty consistently for the past few years and I cannot say there's one that I didn't enjoy. Whether I'm will just one other person or a whole group I always end up having a great time.
I recently attended "Grey Day" where I watched some of my favorite artists perform some of my favorite songs of all time. Listening to everyone around me singing along gave this feeling of unity, we're all such different people bonding over the music, It's a really neat feeling that I think everyone should experience at least once in their lives.

Overall, I'd recommend anyone that has a favorite artist that resonates with them, get those tickets, doesn't matter if they're close or not. It'll be a great time and an overall great memory to have.
This is a really interesting entry! I've never been a big fan of concerts since the noise and crowds overwhelm me, but it's always nice to see how much others enjoy them! But I do have fond memories of a Fall Out Boy concert I saw when I was younger! Was your recent concert one of your favorites you've ever attended or are there any others you liked more?
ReplyDeleteI don't always go to concerts but in some circumstances it's worth it by 10 fold! especially if the band is old, or known for being amazing in concert it just doesn't seem worth it.
ReplyDeleteYour three new entries look pretty good, Lane. Your writing flows pretty well, and you have personality in your writing. Good visual appeal with images and layout. However, you are are pretty brief overall, and there are areas where you you need to analyze further and create more significance for your audience. Keep working the concepts of rhetoric to connect to your audience and keep them engaged. Keep it up! Missing Entry #3 (you have a #3, but is should be #4, and your #4 should be #5 and your #5 should be #6, so you are missing #3).
ReplyDeleteGood Post! Concerts are one of my most favorite things to do. Especially by an artist you love listening to and hearing your favorite songs with friends. I have also been to concerts, and have had an amazing experience at all of them!
ReplyDeleteAs an avid concert go-er I love this post! I also enjoy the photos and videos included the experience is something surreal as I wrote an essay on the same experience. Great job!
